Interesting....no one has mentioned Fracture. This surprises me.
As for me...hmmm...maybe Midnight Club LA, but I'm so overwhelmed with new stuff right now, it's kind of hard to think that far ahead.

Because everything I've seen of Fracture makes it look like a mediocre game with a not so great unique selling point. I'd be surprised if it gets much notice at all.

Really? Huh. I don't play shooters, but of all of the ones that I saw out in Vegas, including Killzone, Halo, CoD, etc. I thought it looked the most interesting. (I'd put MGS in a different category). I could be mistaken, but my impression was that it was well received out there. It certainly looked awfully good for a game that was nearly a year off.
No mention of Force Unleashed either, that I see at a glance.

Oh man, I think I'll go with Starcraft 2. Each time I watch the videos, I forget all the nagging doubts and just want to play the game.

I hope it does hit in 2008, but right now I think the official line on the release date is just "not in 2007." Is Dragon Quest IX still expected in 2008?
Thought of a few others. This is my top 5 anticipation list for 2008, pretty much in order of eagerness to play:
Fallout 3 Advance Wars: Days of Ruin Grand Theft Auto IV Mercenaries 2 Penny Arcade Adventures
Heck ya. Except cancel the PA game, put in Spore. I could easily swap in Spore for the PA game, but interestingly enough they'd both be on the list for the same reason: pure curiosity. I don't expect either of them to be as good as the other 4 on my list, but I'm eager to see what ends up coming out of Will Wright's ambition and out of two gamers who thought it'd be fun to make a webcomic and ended up making a ton of money.

PSP -Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice -God of War: Chains of Olympus
Alas, don't think there'll be the dynamite strategy/RPG lineup there was this year. The release list seems glutted with action, racing and shooters.

At this point, the only 2008 games on my radar are Fallout 3 and Culdcept 360/DS.

I'm kinda stoked for Burnout Paradise.
I forgot about that one. I just hope that the open-world doesn't totally kill the Burnout vibe. It doesn't seem like a natural extension of the series to me.

This time I hear Bethesda is going to make a game so good, there won't be any modding required.
