I have many.

Heavy Rain is a big one.  Bad Company 2 too.

But without a doubt #1 on my list is Dead Rising II. DR is still my favorite gameplay experience on the 360. I cannot wait for DR2. I just hope they don't break it.

Final Fantasy XIII and Mass Effect 2 are about the only two I'm looking forward to at all next year.

Alpha Protocol is at the top of my list.

Also Mass Effect, Elemental: War of Magic, Victoria 2, and Combat Mission: Normandy.

[Edit:] Adding Red Dead Redemption after watching the trailer vizionblind has linked in his new thread.

Mass Effect 2.  after that it will be Alpha Protocol, and then it will change to Fable 3.

Hm...most of the big sequels I cared most about came this year - MW2, Uncharted 2, Ratchet...

I would like to play BC2 but it is not most anticipated. I am cautiously optomistic about Splinter Cell Conviction; it looks like it could be great. I want to play Mass Effect 2, Heavy Rain, God of War 3, Dark Void, Metroid Other M and the new Prince of Persia.

Considering the amount of time I put into the first one, it might be Mario Galaxy 2, although the fact it may be sort of  an "expansion pack" has me a little less excited.

EDIT: Oh, Crackdown 2 is out next year? Definitely want to play that, and Batman 2, and the Castlevania 3D game looks quite fun.

oh, I almost forgot Arkham Asylum 2, Crackdown 2 and Mafia 2. In other words being 'most anticipated game of 2010' is a very fluid position that can change at the drop of a hat.

I don't really follow upcoming titles anymore as that's the road to disappointment.

I am looking forward to a new Rock Band platform release, as I'm bored of RB2.

Depends if  new Zelda is coming out.  If so, that.  If not, I guess if I had to choose just one, it would be Mass Effect 2.

Mafia 2

Surprisingly few of the games mentioned already are must haves for me.

I'll definitely buy:
Mass Effect 2
Crackdown 2

Everything else is wait and see.

Most anticipated is Final Fantasy 13 because, well, I've skipped all of them since 10 and I'm really craving a good JRPG.

As far as lists go, 2010 is going to be a ridiculously good year. Too many games to try and list.

about that Last Guardian PA comic strip
Spoiler for Hiden:
i hope i haven't just read 'the ending' of either Ico or Shadow of the Colossus...and that's why they think one of those outcomes will happen at the end of The Last Guardian icon_mad disgust

It would have been Disciples 3 if it wasn't for the fact it's being designed by a Russian company that has always designed buggy messes, and the Russian release last week was, surprise surprise, a buggy mess.

Jagged Alliance 3 would also have been in the mix...except it's being designed by the same company.  Please, for the love of God, someone stop letting good games be banished to development hell (aka East of Europe and West of Korea  icon_biggrin)

Other than those, probably Bioshock 2 and FF13.  2011 (Rage, Project Offset?  Diablo 3?) has a chance to be much bigger.

The next Batman, Bad Company, and Splinter Cell are my top choices.

I wish/hope of an announcement for another Tom Clancy Hawx, EndWar, Ghost Recon, or Rainbow Six

Red Dead Redemption (actually at the top, thanks to yesterday's trailer, wow)
Battlefield:Bad Company 2
Alan Wake
Batman
Splinter Cell

I've never played Dead Rising.  I assume it would be worth playing through?

Final Fantasy XIII, Halo Reach and Ghost Recon 4 are my 3 most anticipated. The next Splinter Cell would be there too, if it weren't for the poor PC and 360 versions of DA. If a Legend of Zelda game shows up for 2010, it will be in my list too.

It's a love-hate kind of game. It has a very odd structure - its kind of designed to be played through multiple times without actually finishing the story or doing all of the sidequests because it takes place over a short period of time and you maintain all of your leveling up when you start over. I didn't really enjoy the concept, but others love it.

I had fun up until a certain gunfight brought the weak controls to the forefront.  if they tighten them up dor DR2 I may consider it, but until then it's not on my radar.

You and I probably had the same experience.  The shooting controls were abysmal.
