2 HDMI outputs - I guess so you could send signal to two TVs?
2 ethernet ports - I believe they claimed the PS3 could be a router.  
and
2 USB ports - I really don't know the big deal since you could still use a USB hub I would think.

Great observation ATB.  Those sure as hell look like the USB firewire/usb ports that are gone.  If that is the case, Perhaps there were moved to the FRONT of the machine as hot-swappable bays should be, as in the case of every PC made in the last five years?

i have heard that the ps3 is to have 4 USB ports (one more than 360)but like farley said ...on my 360 i use a 4 port hub..i am using it as an extension for my keyboard while playing final fantasy 11...so i still have 3 left on the extension hub and two on the machine......it really doesnt matter about USBs....and no,i havent seen this picture before..thats why i posted it...otherwise i would of left it

i am guessing that this time next year is when i will start thinking about getting one.......maybe the price will of dropped by then

it will still be interesting to see what will happen when sony do release the ps3....how will MS counter?.....halo 3 is to far away,but a price drop in the 360 isnt ....and does anyone know the date for the Wii?...i am expecting big things from nintendos machine...especially as it is the cheapest of the 3
