Yeah, I played quite a bit this weekend, just by myself in MTDM and with the exception of a few glitchers that I reported and a couple of care package knifers, I had no issues. Even with that occasionally going on, I can still play my game and improve. I even got 30 kills including a multi-kill on Estate, raising my k/d up to .87 (it was .85 at the start of the weekend). I'm also playing around with shotguns and machine pistols, just trying new things and going for new callsigns and emblems. I'm now at over 7 days played.

Good luck Mik.

I played some FFA last night and a little bit of MTDM (time was limited) and it's odd to me that I'm not running into more senior level players.  Has there been a mass exodus from this game due to the glitches? I know some of the vets here have put it aside, but is there a collective dismissal of this game?

Great question Lettuce - I too have noticed as of late that there are a ton more rooms with lower level accounts out there. Even more now than I would have expected given the age of the title - I mean over Xmas there was bound to be a metric ton of n00bs out there. But now? Seems a little odd even if nothing more than a coincidence.

Funny you should say that, because the MTDM room I was in last night was filled with people in 3rd prestige or better. I think there was only one or two people who hadn't prestiged.

From the FourZeroTwo twitter feed ...

Ugh. This care package exploit is becoming the bane of my existence, but not for long. @infinityward is working on a permanent fix for it.

I sure hope so! I'll probably hop back over to this after I complete ME2 if they can get the care package stuff fixed for good.

Not 420... 402

Maybe you've been too busy on 4/20 and this is why you can't focus enough to get the numbers straight. Your MW2 emblem was something about "High Command" after all.

Wish their next patch would take some MAG notes.
-Two knifings to kill unless knifed from behind.
-Cant jump and shoot.
-Accuracy goes to SHEEYYYAAATT if hip firing/running while running.
-Sniping is total shit unless you have the bipod attachment deployed.

Granted, this would all take away from the hyper action fun that CoD is known for.

That meant to say gunning while running.
Not running while running.

Yeah but the more you play the game, the more it turns into hyper action as you are serving the bullshit to others.

Played a few last night with Lettuce and M4ck3R. Overall, not a whole lot of fun. The lag on several games was appaling. Lots of killcams where the guy is taking ten foot steps. Lots of lag in general. Didn't see any care package glitching until the end of the night but it really does spoil the fun.

This is kind of a neat channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/thekenburtonshow#p/c/94048F3CFAC7352D

It's some British guy who is admittedly bad at MW2 and he does 9 or 10 minute shows about all the things he does wrong and asks people to give him advice on what to do better.

He also mixes in episodes on other games like MAG.

ya this was after you guys disbanded. We still had fun - I think that we have just resigned ourselves to the fact that the game is broken and no one cares so we just grin and bear it.
Other than leaving negative feedback and adding the glitchers to our list of 'avoided' players we are stuck.

I am looking forward to some Dante's Inferno next week anyway.

Played a bunch of multiplayer last night with Roman, St0ck and Calvin... overall went well considering how much glitching was going on, we ended up winning the majority of the games even with rampant care package abuse.

I've pretty much settled on the fact that if I'm playing with friends, it goes alright... but with the randoms in TDM you are likely to get stomped on.

And the spec ops are pretty good, I've still got plenty of those to finish, too. I had to help Lettuce complete the snowmobile one... those Southern folk don't know how to drive in the snow.  saywhat

noop. none at all. Calvin was very calm and diplomatic 99% of the conversation - which was one sided from my standpoint as I am 'friends only' on Live chat.

Conversation went something like this.

Calvin- “hey (gamertage) despite your cheating you still lost’
Calvin –“no I said you were cheating “
Calvin- “really? Really? Tell me how this is not cheating? Tell me how ‘because its in the game’ the devs wanted it this way”
Calvin- “No dude – no one is whining I am simply asking you why you feel the need to cheat?”
Calvin- “ well I just f*cked your mom so how do you like that?”

.89 and rising...

I mastered the TAR today. This was the first AR where I actually preferred the iron sights over any of the sights. Not a big fan of the way the special red dot obstructs the view, and the holo seems to make the gun jump around a bit, not to mention the ACOG. Had some decent luck with the gun but still didn't care for the accuracy and was just as happy to move on to my next project, which is mastering the UMP. I'm also starting to dabble in the WA2000, we'll see how long that lasts.

Just had to turn the game off as the cheaters are killing this game for me.  The fix is on the way but how many more fixes are coming? Don't they get charged if they have to provide more than 2 fixes? if so they need to
be penalized alot.

I'm going on hiatus until the care package glitch is implemented.

Played last night with Calvin, Romy and Archdan and saw all kinds of abuse with the care package. We probably left five or six rooms (once we knew it was happening, we bailed instantly).

The worst example was when we had this great game going on Favela, back and forth with the lead until about 5000/5000. Then all of a sudden some kid on the other team gets about 6 care packages. Half their team is defending him at the top of the street (where it is already a good place to defend, in the back area with the trench). The kid is doing the care package glitch with friends protecting him. We ended up losing. What a freaking buzzkill to be having a good competitive (and balanced) game and have someone screw it up with cheating. So frustrating.
