Hope you took a picture, otherwise it didn't happen!  Now if you had said 2-39, I'd believe you cause that pretty much fits...

Don't be angry because your copy of MW2 is hidden. I know you're going through withdrawals, but it's proper to not take your withdrawal anger out on your friends who are still playing.  icon_twisted

Interesting that your super games happen once no one on the forum is able to confirm them. I bet tomorrow you come in and say you went 62-4 using the riot shield.

We're onto you!

I'll have ArchDan vouch for me. Or I'll dig up some of the names of the poor souls who got stomped on that round. I'm sure they'd be happy to come and add their frustrations to the forum... ie.

"OMG THEY KEPT SPAWNING US AT THE BOATHOUSE AND THAT UBER NONNA GUY WAS DESTROYING US!"

I did get an AC-130 that round from my emergency air drop and got probably 15 kills from it. The game kept spawning them in groups of 2 -3 in the open  eek POW!

I think Vietnam could be pretty cool, because at least you'll get rid of all the old bolt action and semi-auto rifles and the weapons. You'll have the AK-47 and the M16 (albeit the old crappy one that jammed all the time).

Could have some cool killstreaks:
Napalm - drop it on the enemy and watch them run around on fire.
Agent Orange - makes any organic cover wilt away and makes enemies caught in the spray to slowly lose health.
USO show - brings in Playboy bunnies to distract the enemy.

I think every time you die there should be a 30 second cutscene that mimics Elias' death in Platoon. EVER. SINGLE. TIME.

One of the perks would be Uncommon Valor where instead of going into last stand you pull the pin on the grenade you carry around your neck and dive out of a bamboo tower to kill a machine gun crew.

Also, the collectables will be VC ears that you'll wear on a necklace! QTE action as you take your knife and slice them off!

I wonder what kind of optics the game will be utilizing (other than the standard sniper scopes)

Tried playing more today and yep, getting little to no enjoyment out of this. Multiple night-crawler-like players suddenly appear and kill me only for me to see the kill cam of his screen jumping around due to lag. Then the kill cam of "that guy" that sits in a little window, aims at a doorway, and just waits until you are running out of there to kill you.

I dunno. Maybe it's because it's been this same formula since CoD2. And frankly, I'm tired to the crap performance, the crap hit detection and more that plagues every single CoD release.

How one of the people on my friends list has over NINE DAYS of playing time is beyond me.

I think the hit detection is fine, and overall the lag isn't terrible.  Sometimes it gets terrible, but such is life in online gaming.

Have you ever played Counterstrike dep?  Just curious.

Because I also played a ton of Counterstrike (and loved it), and feel the gameplay tactics  and hit detection are similar.

Just my opinion of course.

This glitch was patched, so they say. From 402 twitter feed, it just required an update to the playlists. No more ice skating. If you didn't get a chance to jump and kill yourself on the fall, too late.  icon_lol

As interest in this seems to be dying, I had a 7 match run last night were I though I would give it up as well.  Was playing Hardcore TDM and just getting hammered with WTF moments.  Then with the last match on Scrapyard, the first 2 min. was looking to be the nail in the MW2 coffin.

My second death came as I turned to look down the airplane next to the flaming tanker.  With my Degale drawn I fired 3 shots at a guy no more than 15 feet in front of me.  No bullet hit.  Not. One. Fing. Time.

I don't know why I didn't rage quit that match right there, but kept on it.

Within the next minute, I had 4 kills and was hanging out in the corner by the flaming tanker and the large building on the edge of the map.  It seemed like no one was coming towards me, so I slowly made my way into the building.  Luckily I saw a guy and caught him for my 5th kill, and got my predator which took out another.  I was by the ladder leading up to the second level, behind a post when I called in the strike, and when I came back to the action, their whole team had spawned in the building.  Holy hell was I giddy.  I shot 1 more and quickly called my Harriers, then realized I was out of ammo.  The whole time no one turned to kill me, and I pulled out my Deagle and started picking them off, and got 3 more.  I spawned and called in the Pavelow.

I was in the little shed next to the flaming tanker, and peered out across the map and got 3 kills of people running in the middle of the map and quickly ducked back in and set my claymore on the tanker side of the entrance and hid behind some boxes.  Sure enough, the claymore got my 4th, and I peered out once again this time towards the tanker and the building where I racked up all my earlier kills.  Right in the path was a guy shooting someone down range, and I popped him right in the kisser.  My predator got 2 more as they were hiding underneath the radar tower.  Harriers inbound!  But wait...when I get back in control, there are 2 guys in with me completely unaware of my location.  2 spray and pray kills, followed by another as a sniper ran behind the forklift and into my bullets.  Another Pavelow!

Oh, did I mention that half of the other team wasn't using cold blooded and no one on their side had a launcher?

When the game ended (surprisingly not on one of my pavelow kills  disgust ), I was 35/4, and looking forward to a repeat performance tonight.

I think that has been a lot of our players experience.

5 games where everything goes wrong, the latency leans toward the other side and you simply can't get a fair engagement.

Then the clouds break and lo and behold, latency is with you!

Honestly, removing the kill cam would make me feel so much better about this game. I just can't bear seeing one thing on my screen and what is apparently a totally different encounter on the kill cam. Wretched.

Kill cams are just a bad idea anyway.

Bad Company had no kill cams and it actually made positioning important. If you got behind the enemy lines you could kill quite a few before they pinpointed your position.  Now the word is they're adding them to BC2.

It's different in MW2 I guess where the action is more arcady and less objective/team based....and there is rampant camping....oh and the maps are smaller.

Last night was absolutely the best night of griefing ever.

It starts with me bitching out some player I killed at the end of the round, thinking he was someone else who I was roundly making fun of - anyways the guy gets supremely pissed and then I attempt to apologize. He thinks I'm British for some reason too. Anyways he keeps talking trash and we find out he's a thermal scope fucker so we proceed to make fun of him for two hours until I quit out and rejoin to get him on Hark, Calvin, Mikagami, and Nonnahob's team whereafter they follow him around shooting in the air and generally giving away his position.

In retaliation he throws two matches going 0-20 and 2-22 whereupon he quits.

Fun.

Almost as good as that was me clearing the lobby of the opposing team after they went all thermal scope on Wasteland by repeatedly chanting "MUFFIN MUFFIN MUFFIN MUFFIN MUFFIN ON A MUFFIN MUFFIN WANT A MUFFIN" for the intermission.

Kill cam = frustrating. But I am so geared towards starting again that the minute I die I hit X to respawn and never end up seeing the video.

Kill cams are just a bad idea anyway.

Why is Halo 3 still the only game to do "kill-cams" right.  Record every match.  Let me play it back later with full camera and playback controls.  This prevents the in-match revealing of positions, but allows the you to study everyone's tactics after the match, sharing, learning and improving the skill level of the entire community. After H3, I thought every shooter would get that functionality, but instead none have. Why is that?

Bad Company had no kill cams and it actually made positioning important. If you got behind the enemy lines you could kill quite a few before they pinpointed your position.  Now the word is they're adding them to BC2.

It's different in MW2 I guess where the action is more arcady and less objective/team based....and there is rampant camping....oh and the maps are smaller.

Where did you here this about BC2?  thumbsdown
