not surprising, but hopefully they revamp the combat portions.  I never understood why it was easier to grab a pistol from a cop that a shotgun or MP5, which was what always got me killed.

I soooo wanted to like this one, but always getting stuck and having to refer to walkthroughs continuously ruined it for me.  If the new one has less head-scratching for me,  I will no doubt love it.  But if most did not have that problem then they won't 'fix' that and again I will be disappointed.   Fingers crossed.

Well, I'm hoping they have removed the propensity for using guns from the game.

There's sequences in Mirror's Edge that while it does not force you to use guns, the studio basically came out and said that EA wanted them to put in scenarios where guns and killing would make it more playable so that action gamers would know what to do. That killed the flow of a lot of later sequences if you wanted to play to the character and not use them.

I tried avoiding guns, but there were definitely times where it would have been easier to proceed by blasting everything.
