The overview link is now up to date as well and the uploader has been set to validate on submit. Hopefully this will stop wasting some time if anyone gets it wrong.

As much as I detest Comcast in general, usually I don't have any issues at all with their internet.

OK, I got the skybridge connected to the top of my base and got stone guardrails all the way around it all the way to just past the waterslide.

by pure coincidence the bridge matches up with the lava beacon perfectly.

I wonder if we'll be able to bresk down lanterns so we can move them without needing to rebuild them. I'm thinking of placing a lot of torches around just in case- that'd be a ton of free lanterns!

That's a good idea. Can't hurt to have some prepared just in case. Build a lantern room...  icon_biggrin

well I'm spent for now.  here's the save file: http://minecraftresource.com/gamingtrend/CeeKay_World5.zip

Slabety left a diamond sword and shovel in the inventory of the last save- I didn't want to use them up so I left them in one of the topside chests of the keep.

thanks!  I have a rough idea of what I'm going to do with the Earth Temple and the Air Temple is in the early concept phase.  None of them are going to involve insane digging like the Fire one did though.

did anyone grab the save?  I'm not sure who is up next.

I apologize for not getting more screen shots, but I was hard at work.  Here is a shot from the end of the sky walk, oh so close to our starting base.  I know it is a pain in the ass, but if someone could finish connecting it up I would be rather happy!  Of course then we will need about 5,000 glass to do the walls and ceiling, perhaps even more.

It's going to be fully enclosed?  I was thinking we could run tracks down the one side on top of the stone guardrails. Of course the hell dimension travel might make laying track pointless.

If no one else is going to grab the save I have some time to kill tonight. I'll wait until about 9pm ESt (4 hours from now), if no one else has it I'll give it a spin.

I grabbed a bunch of graph paper at the store yesterday to start planning out stuff.  it's too bad you cannot put ladders or torches onto glass blocks- that kinda kills an idea I had for the air temple.

OK.

Sorry for the delay. Had a good bit of free time yesterday and the day before due to a business trip and wanted to take advantage of it. Unfortunately, I have nothing amazing to show as I just worked on some tedious things, sky bridge, mining for coal, organizing, tweaking scenery ect.....

I did stumble upon someones bed room while expanding the "red-stone test site". :-D

I do have a project for next time around that I will be able to take some pictures of that I think will be rather cool. Until then here ya go:

OK....Starting clearing a rather large plot of land for my next project. Also started on my combination lock for the entrance to it:

You will have to hit 3 or 4 correct buttons to open the door. Hitting any incorrect button resets the logic. This was actually a lot easier than I anticipated it being. Just a couple of properly placed RS NOR latches and some AND gates.... Will work on it a bit more tomorrow and hopefully have some more images.

One of the caves I just located while clearing land has a rather sizable amount of obsidian to harvest... Just need to do it.

Anyway, I have had my fill for a couple of days. Been clearing out a lot of land to make way for a couple of projects that I am going to put all in the same place. Issue is, I need flat land. It's been a painstaking couple of days thus far and have a lot more to go. But I'm convinced it WILL be worth it (I  think).  icon_confused

Just a couple of shots of the land that I am starting to clear:

The overview is a little different (harder to see IMO) because it's using the textures from the texture pack I'm using. Didn't really think that through before starting to use one.

Finally, here is the save:
