Color me completely, and utterly confused over what this XBox/PC hybrid is supposed to be. It's a console that acts as a PC, and plays PC/XBox games? Has a windows? Er... what? What about the PC?

Better yet, what can the PC do, that the PC/XBox couldn't? What's the distinction? Would we be able to upgrade it hardware/software wise? Would it run programs that I would need, like Illustrator, Photoshop and its ilk?

And most importantly, what exactly is the point in creating something like this? I mean, you have the PC, the computer, and then you have the XBox, the console. Why the hell would I need a PC/XBox hybrid? I just don't see the point.

I think it's kind of meant for people who buy those computers in walmart.

This hear box, plugged in to yer TEE VEE will give you the Inter Net. On the Tee Vee.

I don't think they'll be pushing it as a primary computer.  My guess is it'll be the Media Center they keep trying to push.  Hell, if the thing plays old and new Xbox games, lets me surf the web/check e-mail without trekking to the main computer and has TIVO functionality, I'm sold.

It's just something they're researching.  I doubt it will become available.
