well, there's not much to tell yet.  Only two games shown and some vague comment about connecting the 360, tablets and phones.

Fable the Journey and Gears were okay, but the trailers didn't give much.

Forza Horizon looked cool.  10/23.

Xbox SmartGlass was the integration thing they were teasing before.

And it works with games.

It's almost like they turned the Xbox into a Wii U without having to buy a new system.

If this works as advertised it could be quite cool and useful.

It'll work with "any" phone or tablet.

And this is how they'll make the web work on the 360.

Tomb Raider looks like a lot of fun, but it looks like they just went full-on Uncharted.

And man, do they like kicking the crap out of Lara.

Also, always happy to see a Twisted Pixel game, but I'm not sure what LocoCycle is.  Intelligent spy motorcycle, I guess, but doing what, exactly.

And finally a Gore Verbinsky Kinect marble rolling game that looks a little like Portal, but isn't.

If there's any of the traditional TR stuff that Uncharted borrowed like traversal and puzzle solving, they haven't shown it yet (although I'm sure it's in there - there's supposed to be some open hub areas as well).

Well, that was a pretty underwhelming press conference.

The SmartGlass thing could be cool, since I do usually watch and play with my iPad or phone next to me, but it wasn't enough.

That was a terrible presentation by MS. They opened with a bang with Halo 4 and Splinter Cell and then it was all downhill from there. The non-gaming stuff just did not interest me at all. COD BlackOps 2 seems kind of cookie cutter boring. That was probably Microsoft's weakest E3 presentation ever.

I didn't even watch. All of  your comments pretty much summed up what I expected. Maybe Ninty will do 1 of their pull-a-rabbit-out-of-their-hat shows or Sony's presentation will be good, but I doubt it. Oh well, I look forward to later seeing what they showed of Halo 4.

It strikes me once again that Microsoft really doesn't have a lot to show that isn't also on another console, South Park, Tomb Raider, CoD, RE6, etc., They really need to up their 1st party titles.

But lets face it this E3 is going to be a boring one since no one will be announcing a new console, unless you count Nint showing off the WiiU.

But lets face it this E3 is going to be a boring one since no one will be announcing a new console, unless you count Nint showing off the WiiU.

The long console lifecycle is probably what's the blame for a couple of years of lackluster shows. With a 5 year cycle you've got several shows where you are talking about new hardware and the rest of the shows you can show off big new games with fancy graphics.

Now you are showing off stuff that just extends the life of the current console and the best you can do is show sequels with marginally better graphics. And when you focus on non-gaming at E3, people get cranky.

Is Gears of War Judgement Microsoft published like the past titles?,as there were rumours that that title was heading to PS3 as well,and the trailer doesn't have Microsoft name anywhere like usual at the end
