Well, there is the MechAssault 2 Review on the homepage.  Other than that I have not tried it yet, but I do plan on renting it if I can.

This one seems to have very little buzz going, for some reason.  I know my interest hasn't really been piqued at all.  Maybe because I was bored of the first one after an hour.

I'll be getting it, but I have to wait for MS to send me my copy.

I suspect that the trick they're trying (the post-xmas release) may not work as well as they'd hoped.  Obviously, what they're hoping for is that all the folks that have gift cards also got the games they wanted for Xmas, and will be looking for something to spend the money on, so they'll have this new game immediately after.  The problem is that the buzz about the release gets lost in all the holiday hubbub, so a lot of people may not even realize it's out, and the Live crowd that's the game's main audience may still be busy with Halo 2.

I was hopeful but the CG review has dashed my hopes.  I want an open single player game like the PC mechwarrior games.

I was completely addicted to MA online play for months.  It was the first live game that I really got into.  I will be picking up MA 2 Wednesday afternoon.  If anyone wants to play Wed night I will be on.  I have read that the single player campaign is extremely short (like the 1st one), so if you are not going to play on Live, I would rent it.
