I don't like rhythm games.  I never really did, but I got SC5 on a lark.

I still don't like rhythm games.

haha, I felt the same way.  Back in the Dreamcast days I thought Sega could do no wrong, and picked up every quirky game they came out with (Seaman  anyone?).

But Space Channel 5 just irritated me to no end... it started out kind of fun, but then I found myself waking up in the middle of the night going "left... right... *unf* *unf* *unf*"

I had a really tough time with this game, with lots of my keypresses registering as misses when I could have sworn I timed them right.  But eventually I finished, and found it worth playing through a second time (which took about 45 minutes).  The bosses are so cute!

Now that you've got the song stuck in my head, I'll have to play Part 2 soon.

I like some rythym games.  I loved Amplitude, and Frequency.  But SC5 just really got me.  With no signs to follow along with, I cant just szeem to get the rythym.  But hey.  Uu La La is cute..

My wife and I were laughing at how horrible we were making the music sound after a while.  I think it's very funny how dissonant all the horns get, and it was getting TERRIBLE after a while.  We really, really suck.

I bought it and beat it the first time I played it.  Not much value there.

I paid $10 for the PS2 Special Edition that has part 1 & 2.  Pretty good deal I thought.
