Fileplanet is distributing keys for the Matrix Online closed beta for subscribers. They are handing out 5000 each Tuesday for 4 weeks and the first batch has been released. So if you are a subscriber and interested then head over there.
If, however, you are not a subscriber and despise everything Fileplanet stands for then feel free to bash away if it will make you feel better.

I've yet to read a positive thing about Matrix online.
Does it have an NDA? Can anyone explain why it's not a heaping pile of suck?

Ah, I didn't notice Road to Gold was open. Move it on out....
I've sucessfully gotten the key, downloaded the client (after waiting for Fileplanet to get the links straightened out), registered my account and am currently getting patched...and now I get the message the server is not open for play. Well, swell.

I'm in the beta and a lot of what goes on is covered by the NDA.
At this point there are lots and lots of rough spots and things most certainly need to be tested.. and tested.. and tested...
It seems on track and new things are added each and every patch.
I also think that it doesn't help the beta servers are up only 6 hours a day.
