I ran across this Kickstarter
the other day. The game is a Japanese-style RPG that appears to be modeled after the original Final Fantasy. There are a lot of RPGMaker RPGs like this, but what struck me about this one is the size and scope.

From looking through the strategy guide and playing a little of the demo, the game looks to be massive. The "Collections" page in the game menu shows 900 treasures to collect, 90 locations, 200 items to craft, 70 different types of fish to collect, etc. The Kickstarter is actually raising money for the sequel, as the game is already finished and is set to be released on July 31. $15 gets you to game, while $25 also gets you the sequel when it is finished.
