I was doing my budget last night and looked through the EB coming soon pages to see what games I was going to buy. Holy cow! There was about eight or nine games that I am either really looking forward to or mildly interested in, next month.
Obviously, I'm not going to buy them all (although with my willpower, who knows)? Out of these games, what do you guys think will be the best two or three?
Star Wars: Republic Commando Project Snowblind Devil May Cry 3 Brothers In Arms Freed Force vs. the Third Reich Musashi Samurai Legend Digital Devil Saga Rise of The Kasai God of War Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory

Hmmm
Star Wars: Republic Commando - yes Project Snowblind - yes Devil May Cry 3 - no Brothers In Arms - yes Freed Force vs. the Third Reich - wait for reviews Musashi Samurai Legend - wait for reviews Digital Devil Saga - Maybe Rise of The Kasai - maybe God of War - absolutely Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory - Is it March yet?
We also have a few that didn't make your list: Fight Night Round 2 - absolutely Psychonauts - leery... Rainbow Six: Lockdown - always a winner Stolen - This looks kinda cool Iron Phoenix - if we get a few people onboard, I'm keen Silent Hunter III - please be good...
Just my take thus far...

No on everything for me, but I think I might actually take a break from gaming. Odds are that'll last exactly 24 hours then it's back to my existing library which I need to play through. I've actually adopted a theme of "finishing what I already own" before I move on to something new, but my willpower is low regarding "teh shiny toys."

Yeah, march is stacking up pretty good but even April is going to be tough early on:
Doom III Area 51 MoH (maybe) Jade Empire
Big budgeting time.
btw - I love the Release Dates on the front page...thanx CG.

I'm looking forward to April/May much more than March:
Jade Empire Call of Cthulhu Wild Arms: Alter Code F
just off the top of my head. March doesn't really hold much of interest to me.

Of those mentioned:
Digital Devil Saga -- Day 1 and/or preorder. the rest -- will wait on reviews/CG effect.
Not mentioned:
-Restricted Area (PC). I'll be waiting on impressions/reviews, but it's supposedly a Fallout-esque action/RPG, which sounds interesting.
-Sega Hits: Phantasy Star Trilogy (PS2). If it actually ships in March, that is.
-Shining Tears (PS2). Again, I'll wait on impressions/reviews. Another high-quality game in the Shining Force series would be a godsend, though.

Stealing list below Star Wars: Republic Commando - Not based on the OXM demo (dec) Project Snowblind - Wait for reviews Brothers In Arms - PC likely. Freed Force vs. the Third Reich - wait for reviews Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory - perhaps. Reviews/rental Psychonauts - wait for reviews Rainbow Six: Lockdown - likely (multiplayer ... mmm) Iron Phoenix - wait for reviews; demo was fun but D/M is soo... limited. Some more to consider : Timesplitters: Future Perfect - the last one was a terrific game. I loved that different difficulties opened different areas. Tons of replayability (and character) Phantom Dust - I want to try this out in english; this might be a great discount buy.

The only ones I'm interested in during the March/April timeframe are:
Jade Empire 2K Sports - Major League Baseball \Stardrifter picks Lockdown up off the floor
I can't justify $250 for PSP & $50 per game. The only lure at this point is the sports titles. But, I never travel so why would I want one? I will probably be picking up a Nintendo DS in the coming months. I love its innovation and the vast library of SP games available. Plus I can play multiplayer with my son and his DS. When I do get it I'm immediately grabbing Final Fantasy I & II Dawn of Souls, & Zelda: The Minish Cap.

I'm sort of looking forward to Wrestlemania 21 for xbox... depends on the reviews it gets. Aside from that, MVP Baseball looks to be a great again.

I just read Game Informer's review of Devil May Cry 3 and saw this: Offering improvements that add a brand new dimension to the combo-driven demon meat carving, this title takes the concept of a hardcore action experience and contorts it into a humiliating position before administering a handgun enema They also say it's the hardest next-gen game ever released, even harder than Ninja Gaiden. As someone who loved Ninja Gaiden, DMC3 has just shot to the top of my list!

I loathed Ninja Gaiden, but since I managed to complete the original DMC on the hardest difficulty, I might have to check this one out...
