I know there were some issues with it when it was released, how is it today for those that have it? Worth picking up for $9.99 on steam?

Have you tried the playable demo? It was rather short, for my tastes, and I just didn't get comfortable with or competent at the gameplay (similar to but a little different than Diablo and its ilk), even after a few run throughs. Although it didn't "work" for me, many people enjoy it.

My Steam friends list has quite a few fans of it. If you enjoy the demo, I'd consider the full Collection bundle ($24.99): http://store.steampowered.com/sub/8556/

I trot it out every now and again when I'm up for some difficult carnage.  It makes my rig bog down a bit when everything's firing off, but I haven't had any bug-related issues.

I'd rather be watching hockey.
