Holy crap, that's terrible!  Too bad the actual game doesn't have that Benny Hill music playing the background to get your mind off the wait.

I've played the crap out of Smackdown2006, and while my complaints about the loadtime are well documented on this board I don't ever remember one lasting a whole six minutes....

Edit: Ok, so they measured from bootup until first match of the season mode... I guess I can buy that but I still don't remember that much delay.  Still, there are games that are much, much worse.

Amazing.  I hope someone loses a job over that.

At least there was a hot chick on the loading screen at one point to look at.

Edit: I just got to the end - the Final Fantasy fanfare at the end was great.

On the PSP? You have GOT to be kidding me. That was absolutely insane. It's worse on other titles?

Makes me glad that I copied the only two games I owned for the device onto the memory card (Lumines and Wipeout). Makes them rather speedy, more or less.

I can't believe I sat through that.

I had to laugh, though, when the flick said something like, "if you took the train, you'd be there by now," 'cause I was thinking at the exact same time that if I'd be playing the thing on the bus, I would've gotten to work before the thing finished loading.

In the time it took me to watch that I built a DS from scratch, learned how to program Mario Kart and won several of the circuits.

Such as? I haven't played soem of the games known to have long load times (Madden, GTA, Midnight Club come to mind). I've had around 10 different PSP games and the only one that was even mildly annoying was X-Men Legends II and that had more to do with load frequency than duration.
