Does anyone have one of these?  I've been thinking of getting X-Box Live,  and I saw it at a local store.  Granted, the 80 buck pricetag is a bit steep, but with my current setup (and my love for the wireless controller), I don't see much alternative other than some major re-arranging in order to use a headset.  Not to mention the pets love cords...

Will the headset work fine with the 360?  I'd hate to spend $80 on something I'll retire at the end of the year.

Who knows?  The 360 will let you use any type of cell phone headset with the standard plug.

That is a nice writeup!  Perhaps I am not spending enough time perusing everything ConsoleGold has to offer, as I didn't even know there WAS a wireless headset for the xbox.

Well done and great info.

Now, a quick question that is semi-related.  If I have two controllers hooked up, and a buddy and I are both playing over Live on the same xbox... Let's take Crimson Skies as an example, although any game will do.  Let's say we both have a headset in our controllers...  Can we both communicate with all the othe people playing the game, or is just one headset active?  How does this wireless headset fit into that question... the same, or different?  (did that make sense?)

I think the deal is one Live account = one headset.  If one of you is a guest, only one gets to talk.  If there's two accounts being used, both can talk.  I think.

I think Chaz is correct on this one.

You can use a splitter to plug two headsets into one controller. Someone (Datel? Hip Gear?) makes a dongle/headphone set that has multiple headsets included. You could use the Nyko Speaker Com so both of you could hear what's being said.

Great.  Thanks for educating me on that.  I didn't know either of those things.

Heh, it sounds dirty, but it's not! Tongue

My controller gets dongleberries. I would shave it, but I hear it grows back even thicker.
