This week.......

It's a big one......

Yes, the one we all have been waiting for after the week break.......

Get ready for it......

ITS MS PAC-MAN

OMFGOMFGOMFG

err....or not.

*sigh*

Another week, another wasted Live Arcade Day.

This picture pretty much says it all...

Come on, MS. Sony put out Gripshift last week (which kicks ass) and a couple more PS1 games. Nintendo at least gives us 3 classic games to choose from this week.

Once again, Live Arcade gets screwed.

Well, it is better than NEW Rally-X or the big fat nothing that was last week.....but still, it does nothing for me. I liked it alright in the arcades, but that was many moons ago.

I was hoping for Worms or Alien Hominid or Castle Crashers or SOMETHING other than another tired retro game. Now, we get another week of waiting....   :icon_sad:

My backlog is so big on the 360 right now the lack of good arcade releases doesn't bother me too much.

BTW if that is the same version of gripshift that came out for the PSP last year, it doesn't sound that exciting either.

I was kinda looking forward to Ms. Pac Man myself. My son loves it so it gives us another game to play together.

From what I understand, Castle Crashers is at least several months off if not Fall/Winter this year.

Believe it or not, I am excited about this!  If I wasn't exhausted coming back from a workout, I'd go all Starshifter with excitement.

Ever since I moved last August, my 360 has been stuck in a box while my PS2 got all my attention.  Ms. Pac-Man of all things is what's going to finally get me to dust it off again.

I've already got the intro song in my head!

What exactly is the difference between Pacman and the Miss version? Besides the bow of course.

...exactly.  The wife will demand we purchase it.  And it will be one of the top-selling XBLA titles.

While Ms Pac-Man is certainly better than Pac-Man, this is still a disappointing showing for the Arcade.  Somebody needs to kick this fucker into overdrive.

- Ms Pac-Man moves faster than the old man
- There are 4 different mazes instead of the same one over and over
- Three of those mazes have two sets of warp tunnels instead of one
- Pseudo random ghost movement instead of patterned
- Two pieces of fruit pop out and float around
- Clyde got a sex change and is now Sue

And don't forget the intermissions with souped up graphics!

Dude...Ms. PacMan kicks all kinds of ass.  This isn't anywhere close to being lame like Rally X was.

Perhaps, but according to Hets, Dungeon Explorer is the noteworthy one here. You may want to recommend that one to your wife slywink

Same here.. My wife is all about Ms. PacMan.  Atleast her games on Ms. PacMan will last no where near as long as her games on Geometry Wars.  She ties up my 360 for HOURS with Geo Wars

Still, it's better than it being tied up with downloadable TV shows like Dr. Phil.
