Liberty City Stories for PS2=$19.99 & PSP stays $49.99

Everything was made official this afternoon when the company confirmed a June 6th release date for GTA: Liberty City Stories and attached a $19.99 price tag to the game. You can't even buy a second hand copy of the PSP version for that cheap, and Rockstar expects consumers to not feel ripped off paying $49.99 for a brand-new one?

Well that sucks.

of course, they COULD drop the price of the PSP version the day they release the PS2 version....

Yikes.

I'd think the PSP version should be dropping soon, but if it's still selling well, I guess they would have no reason to. I hope it drops by the time I am finished the games I have, because it's on my list to get.

i'm just so darn freakin' fed up with the PSP and it's overpriced games.  if i had the backbone, i'd just trade this thing in for something else.  however, i keep stupidly hanging onto it thinking that the older games will drop in price, and that more than 1 good game every 3 months will be released at some point.   :evil:
