where do you get all those Demigod-like games from ? Graphically BC looks nice.

Do you know what the F and P stand for in FPS?   This one isn't.

FPS style   So we are clear in a RTS game traditionally you click and your unit then does the action - with various casts if appropriate. In the FPS style (in my way of thinking) if we ignore the First person aspect, you point/aim and then shoot. Seemed the easiest way to describe it tbh without having to break it down

ah, I didn't see anything different in BL than HoN. Looks good though.  There are abilities in HoN that fire off where you're aiming just like that video.

The new patch adds a hero, fixes some bugs but most importantly for us I think is that it adds a 3v3 map

I love the patcher in this game - download a patch but don't stop the player checking options etc out. Awesome. Anyway onto the patch. Great patch!!

Lobby now shows the players level and what he gains from the game. The shop is hugely improved - now recipes are obvious recipes, not sure about other elements but clicking on a purchased recipe now opens the shop at that item. 3v3 map is still big but not too big.

the shop also remembers the last item you were looking at when you come back which helps if you were building towards something.

Interestingly the shop changes have received a mixed response - 50:50 on those that love the changes and those that hate them.

I suspect the hard core players don't like them and everyone else does

hehe yeah I just don't get the denies. So as you get close to battle you hold your hero and then hit either creeps or your own to get the gold or the deny?

yes, and if there is an enemy in your lane (which there usually is) denying your own creeps is actually more important than getting the last hit because denying them xp is better than getting the gold.

Also since you usually want to be fighting at or near your own towers except when the team begins the push, killing all your own creeps as soon as they hit 50% keeps the enemy creeps pushing closer to your towers.

I need footage. Good footage. We keep replays of all games. Next time you play keep very close track of whats going on. If you experience something that just looks awesome write down the time and a note of what it was. Then at the end of the game take note of the match ID in the upper left of the final scores screen. Make a post in this thread detailing the cool event with the match id and time and what i should look for.

I'm looking for very clear, awesome looking, action. In addition good gameplay / teamwork and heroes working together are key. I want to others to see whats possible with hero ability interaction etc.

Hi everyone.

If any of you wants to thrash a n00b, I'm in the HoN beta. I have never played DoTA, so by n00b I mean "doesn't know what half the buttons do yet".

As for what kind of a random-seeming first post this is; blame Tals. I've played some DG with Tals, Kossak and Harkonis (sorry if I missed anyone), so Tals invited me to HoN and to sign up here.

i played once with AI too, the game is very nice and indeed very friendly. I don't know which one (HoN or LoL) is better at the moment, but when i play LoL more i will know.
I tried Annie for the first time - nice little "harmless" girl with a pet . I will play (or better say: learn to play) today so we can hook up on xfire.

HoN has no real nda at this point, but LoL does so just keep that in mind.

The metagame features make a difference to me in this one.

At the moment Lol is not bad however i'm getting to the point where dg>lol>hon so for me i'm not sure why i'm doing lol or hon as dg fits my needs. May play some more but I really need my dg fix

For me Demigod is no doubt the best MOBA game on the market. And i know why i'm playing LoL and HoN - because i play quite a lot of Demigod with my friends from Poland and after some time of playing i need a break from it. So when i get tired of Demigod i go for LoL or HoN or anything else and then go back to Demi again .

I like HoN and LoL very much, though LoL a bit more. My feeling is thath HoN is focused on competitive play and LoL on playing for fun. When They will get out of beta and be realeased i'd like to buy them all (well LoL is free2play so don't need to buy)
