Technically, this is about a PC game, but the game is very much a console-style RPG, so I figured it would be of most interest to console gamers.
The developers have released the final chapter in the Laxius Power saga, a series of 3 freeware "old-school" console-style RPGs.  The feature list (especially for part 3) looks incredible and there's supposed to be 200-300 hours of gameplay between the 3 games    There's also supposed to be some "adult" content in the form of nudity.  A Google search for "Laxius Power" will lead to many shareware site download links.

Ouch....guys, a warning.  That link will pop up porn ads on you.  *whew* No management was looking when that happened.  The link is good, and goes to the proper site, but it is NSFW because of their popups.

I'm really sorry about that - with Firefox, I didn't get any popups.  I removed the link in my first post, since the game is widely available from other sites.

I played it for a few hours but it didn't hold my attention.  If I want to play a console-style RPG, I want to play it on a console.  PCs are for PC RPGs.  IMO, of course.
