Can you change the difficulty of the skirmish battles?  I see no button for doing so, and the manual mentions nothing.

Can you tell commanders to be passive/aggressive like you could in the previous Kohan?  I am fairly sure the answer is 'no', but losing the commander is apparently not as important this time around.

Thank you

The different AI profiles have different difficulty levels and you can further tweak the difficutly by setting economic bonuses or penalties from the last dropdown menu.

And no, there is no active/passive setting for commanders. frown

It's just handled automatically, like regular captains: if they're a melee-oriented Kohan, they'll be aggressive; if they're a spellcaster or archer, they'll hang back.

All you lose when a Kohan dies is their experience.  You don't have to pay to resurrect them, like you did in the first two games; and AFAIK there's no way to permanently lose them (i.e., no stealing amulets because there are no amulets in the first place).
