The only complaint I've heard or read about this game is that it's over too quickly. That may be true for some, but if you play like me, the length of the game becomes a non-issue.

After working so hard on a level (and having much fun), I can't accept a small star. I load it up again and again, rolling my crap-collector until I get a better feel for the level's terrain and a better understanding of the endless array of bizarre items discarded everywhere. Eventually, I might produce a star or constellation worthy of the big sky -- at least, some of the time.

I suppose you could blow through this game in a few hours but you'd  miss the beauty of it. I've had KD for a couple of weeks and I have as much fun repeating levels as I do progressing through the game.

It's twenty bucks.

I love this game! truly unique.  And the music is fantastic, even the graphics work well with the whole concept.

I assume this is a P2 only?

I'd like to try it but that is one console I don't have.

Gwen,
Unfortunately it's only available for PS2 right now, but with all the great reviews, I wouldn't be surprised if it made its way to XBox or the Cube. Time will tell.

Excellent game.  I'm still trying to get a big bear for the ursa constellation...last time I got a big Katamari together then rolled over a "no bears on lawn" sign that counted
