For the other fans of the Godzilla games and giant monsters in general, I figured you might also be interested in this Kaiju Combat Kickstarter.

Effectively, some guys that had worked at Pipeworks on the Godzilla games and Rampage: Total Destruction have licensed the engine used in those games to make a new, original giant monster fighting game for PC.  

For now it will have all-new, original monsters with the potential for licensed monsters as later DLC if things go well.  They still look pretty sweet though smile

Well, despite none of you giving a crap slywink they hit their goal and beyond so things are looking good with just over a day left. 

You'd think with Pacific Rim getting so much attention more people would be interested in battling Kaiju!   icon_twisted

I hope they find a way to fight that stupid litigation, because as he said it would set a poor precedent for people to not be able to use the general term "Kaiju".  That would be like somebody suing over the name "Scrolls" or something.  Oh wait...
