Man, how is it that a magazine can actually put together 25 to 30 pages, if not more, straight of actual content without ads? I swear that's what my first issue XBN looks like.
I got a free subscription from xbox.net that I never counted on coming, but I am really glad it did.
I've read some of the articles, and I like what I read when you compare it to the competing magazines, but I was really impressed by the content to advert ratio. Unfortunately I know it won't last long, because it never does.

Hey, thanks for the magazine subscription tip!
Their forums seem awfully cluttered though - it's hard to read messages posted around all the embedded customization.
Speaking of, when do you think we'll get avatars here at CG?

I've been a subscriber for around a year and love it. As for going downhill...it has been slowly. The first few issues were beyond excellent with long text reviews, well written commentary and few ads. It's still heads above the rest of them though.
