The problem being, there aren't too many titles out there worth porting from the SNES and under age that never made a US release. Can't think of too many off the top of my head short of:

Earthbound Zero (the NES Earthbound game that was canceled at 100% finish status)
Sin and Punishment (supposed to be a very good Japanese only N64 title)
Starfox 2 (SNES sequel that was canceled at 99% finish status)
Terranigma (fantastic Action/RPG SNES title that was only released in Europe for whatever reason)

More potential untranslated stuff:

SMT 1 & 2
Tales of Phantasia (GBA release is crap)
Tactics Ogre Super Famicom version
Dragon Quest V
Dragon Quest VI
Seiken Denetsu 3
Star Ocean 1
Famicom Wars
Fire Emblem games
Front Mission 1

How the heck did I forget Secret of Mana 3 in my list? Guess it was just too early in the morning. Awesome game, BTW. Same with the two Dragon Quest games we never got.

Yeah, I've played a bit of all three and they are incredibly impressive games.

The thing is Tim, that Metal was talking about the UK, who never got a lot of great games. The nice thing to know is that if they are considering a UK/PAl VC release a US release wouldn't be too far behind.

Well, it's more of a global statement in my mind (even though that yes, they did talk about the UK only), as there's nothing stopping them from bringing it out in the US if it shows up translated across the ocean.

But yeah, the UK missed out on some great titles as you said. Didn't they not get Chrono Trigger for example?
