Well, based on the other thread you guys know I'm playing Steel Battalion. Additionally I'm playing Lego Starwars (preview upcoming - this game is a blast!) and Suikoden IV. I'm also going to try some multiplayer Unreal Championship 2 off the OXM demo disc tonight. What are you guys up to?

I just got a new PS2, I am playing Mercenaries & Champions of Norath. Norath is old, I know, but I missed it the first go around.

I'll be on this evening for the UC2 demo action w/ Ron. I just finished Half Life 2 (love it!), THUG2, and tinkering a bit with my son's copy of Pikimin. Plan to finish up Halo 2 soon. My b-day is coming up and I'm wondering what to ask for, as I've decided to spend all day drinking beer, napping, and playing video games....

Since I got my plate of reviews done I will probably go back to play some NBA Street v3. Maybe the baseball games as well, we shall see. If GT4 shows up, it will probably supercede everything.

I'm debating whether I actually want to push through and finish the colossal dissapointment that is Xenosaga II. I'm leaning towards trading it in for Y's or NBA Street 3.
Also been messing around with Zone of the Enders 2, and recently re-loaded Morrowind and Diablo II on the PC.

I feel left out... I finished KOTOR2 last weekend, and I'm sort of enjoying a little break from games after that sucked up my life.
Probably going to try to pick up Dai Senryaku VII very soon based on the talk I've seen though...

I'm playing Tenchu: Fatal Shadows on the PS2 and World Soccer Winning Eleven 8 International on the PC with a PS2 controller:) Both are great games. Don't know why Tenchu: FS got such bad reviews, though.

Every review I've read so far has just killed the new Tenchu. I've really enjoyed all the Tenchu games so far, and their weak points don't bother me that much. I realize the AI is weak, the camera is frustrating, and the hand-to-hand combat is clunky, but I love sneaking around being a bad-ass ninja.
So did they change anything to the core components of the game, or is it simply being panned because it is more of the same? If it's MOTS, I'll probably love it despite the poor reviews, but if they changed something dramatic, I might avoid it.

Since I've spent the last few months hooked on the following games in order: Half-Life 2, Halo 2, GTA: SA, Mercenaries and finally beat Mercenaries the other day, I'm taking a breather. I got Prince of Persia: Warrior Within and Evil Genius for my birthday and the good thing about both is I can play them in stops and starts and never feel like I'm losing anything. I don't know what that says about the games themselves, but these work as a breather for me and I don't have to stay up until 2 a.m. gaming. My wife certainly enjoys me going to bed on time as well. I've also still got the original KOTOR on PC that I'm playing whenever I get the chance. Going through as a Dark Lord this time and it's hella fun. But nothing too addictive overall. Like I said, I'm taking a gaming breather for a while. Hopefully I'll get caught up on my DVD watching on my new big screen.

If it's MOTS, I'll probably love it despite the poor reviews, but if they changed something dramatic, I might avoid it. Actually, it's pretty good. It is more of the same, more or less with some new things added and I'm quite happy with it. I absolutely loved the previous game - Wrath of Heaven and this game has a lot in common with it. You do get some new toys, and some new moves but the core of the game hasn't changed. The only drawback that I can see with the game is the lack of the male ninjas from the previous game - although this is a prequel and it's acceptable. I really don't know what the reviewers have against the game. It certainly isn't Metal Gear Solid but it doesn't try to be. I'd say if you liked Wrath of Heaven, and especially the Ayame levels (since she's returning as one of the playable characters), then get it, you'll certainly like it and have a lot of fun.

Picked up NBA Street 3 and Psi-Ops last night. NBA Street is a blast, although it seems to move a bit slower than the last iteration. Mine came sans instruction manual (used) and I couldn't find a tutorial, so I'm sure I'm missing some of the little nuances. Psi-Ops is fun, but I'm horrible at controlling action games and I'm sure it'll get too hard for me pretty soon. Picking guys up and slamming them into the wall never gets old though.

Ghost Recon 2 and Athens 2004. I'm not yet sure how I feel about GR2. I'm very fond of the PC Original, and they did manage to capture some of that here. But I'll save final judgement for the review. Just finished KOTOR 2 (PC)

...Athens 2004. Hehehe. I wondered who would end up with that! Can't wait to read the review. I bought GT4. I'm not currently playing anything, but might bother myself to go pop it in, if only to see how it looks in 16:9 and hi-res.

Devil May Cry1. Getting juiced for 3.
Rented GT4 and Snowblind. Didn't like either much. Won't buy either I think.
Looking forward to DMC3, Brother in Arms, and SW Republic Commando next week. As a matter of fact the whole month of March should keep me busy trying out games if nothing else. Always rent first, then buy if warranted. Lucky for me few warrant it anymore.

I've been giving Ocarina of Time a whirl on the Gamecube. Got the game in a trade a while back and kept trying to like it but I just couldn't get into until recently. A solid title that I'm glad I'm finally getting to play.
