I have noticed so far that the few times that I played a Gamecube game in the Wii and finished playing the game, that the Wiimote doesn't seem to be able to be used - like it is out of sync. If I hit any buttons on it, I get the four flashing lights. I have to power the console off and power it back on with the wiimote(it works then) to get back to the wii menu. What's the deal?

Since the Wii boots a copy of the GameCube OS whenever a GameCube game is played, you must reboot the Wii to be able to access the Wii OS.

yeah, that is a pain.....having the wiimote on for everything is a real drag(VC games included),and with it rumbling everytime you go over a channel or letter when posting mail......those batteries never stood a chance
