Rumors of Oblivion's delay are just that - rumors.
As for an official launch list, I don't think there is yet.

Nope, no official list which is why I didn't pre-order anything at EB in that other thread about them calling me.

Supposed first day games:
Project Gotham Racing 3 (Bizarre/Microsoft) Gun (Activision) NBA Live 06 (EA) Tiger Woods 06 (EA) NHL 2K6 (2K Sports) NBA 2K6 (2K Sports) Frame City Killer (Namco)
Later on:

They can't know for sure until the window for certification closes. Any game on the list could still potentially fail certification for whatever reason and get held up. Depending on how desperate they are for titles and how close certain games are and how lenient they are for resubmitting to cert, I could see a final list not being written in stone until about two weeks before the system is supposed to drop. Just my guess though.

Well, I have Kameo and Perfect Dark CE reserved. And Oblivion CE on the PC. Between that, and the announcement that Dragon Warrior 8 will be launching on the same day, I'll need a week off of work just to play everything.

Not as of yet it isn't unfortunately, but you can feel free to add it to the list if you like in the "maybe" category.
Also, I don't keep up much on Oblivion, so if they said it was for sure a launch title then that is news I do not know.

They didn't yet (they are waiting until Oct 3rd to let Microsoft make the official word), but the Official Xbox Mag talked to them and they confirmed it was a launch day game. It is also listed as a 99% confirmed launch day game in the official 360 launch guide.

Im sure when Bethesda knows when the game will be finished they will let us know Hetz. No, trust me, we will be the LAST to know. The publisher, Microsoft, most game magazines and retailers will know before they let us know on their website....and they are already ALL saying it is. Anyway, Microsoft will make it official on Oct 3rd when they announce the official launch lineup for North America.

This hurts! It really, really hurts! I may have to go upstairs and fire up Morrowind again, just to make another character and sneak around for a few hours, kill a rat or a squib or two... I've never done the midnight thing, standing in line is not my forte' - but if Oblivion is out for launch - I'll be gathering up my picnic basket and my lawn chair! Escape while you can, Chaz... Or I'll see you on the 22nd. I don't suppose they'll let us line up "in order of pre-order"? Woot, that'd be awesome!

A week ago I was sure I'd be able to wait a year or more on the 360... Then I saw the screenshots for Oblivion.
I now Need the 360; though if Oblivion is going to wait a month, I can too... I won't be able to possibly do the 2nd controller or 2nd game at launch, but if I'm just getting the $399 system and a $60 game, I may -just- be able to make it happen...
Live/2nd game/2nd controller can wait over the proceeding months.

I believe that Todd Howard is the executive producer of the game. Oh, is Calvin one of Rage's (Cenk's) many alt's? I know that he is a friend of kathode, but I didn't know he changed his name to Calvin.

Yeah, he changed it via a request from Ron (although I'm not sure what the request was about). Sorry you didn't know, there is a thread in Off-Topic where Rage/Calvin talks about the need for a change.

I am just the plain old vanilla "producer". I started as an associate but shed that about a year ago. So no more "ass-prod", now I'm just a plain old prod AFAIK Calvin is not Rage.

Good god guys, I made an announcement. I am Calvin/Rage/whatever you want to call me. It's not an alt, since alts are not allowed and I do not have one (see my post count), or anything else. I asked Ron if I could change my name, he graciously said yes, and he requested that I post an announcement about it so people would know (thats what I meant when I said request in the other thread Foxy). So yeah, thats me.

Added Perfect Dark Zero to the "later on" category thanks to this from an IGN PDZ preview: Lastly, we've learned that Perfect Dark Zero is not concretely set to launch day and date with Xbox 360. In other words, it's doubtful as a day one launch title. Expect to see it in 2005, and most probably before Christmas, but not day one. Uh oh...flagship game not coming out on release day?

Wow, not having PDZ on launch day is a pretty huge blow.

Ok thats just stupid as crap. I am, for some strange reason, very excited about this game-and to be honest, it looks more like a XBox 1.5 title than a 360 and Rare still can't get it out in time? I don't want to start a fight, but what the goddamn hell has Rare been doing since Microsoft spent an absurdly large amount of money to acquire them? So far it seems like one the most expensive mistakes in recent video game industry history.

After the not-so-good Grabbed by the Ghoulies, and the constant delays of Kameo (N64 title anyone?), people have been saying that the buying of Rare was one of the most expensive mistakes in recent VG history. Hopefully they'll turn things around with both of their releases this year. And hopefully PDZ will be a launch title.

Actually, now with both Perfect Dark Zero and Project Gotham Racing 3 looking more and more like they'll be pushed into the "launch window" category, as opposed to the "launch date" one, I'm giving some serious thought of dropping my X360 pre-order bundle, and getting the console closer to christmas time.
I'll wait until X05 (or whatever it's called in October), where they officially anounce the LAUNCH DATE titles, before I pull the temporary plug, though.
Also, whoever came up with the "launch window" concept, needs to be beaten with a stick.

I'll be honest and say I don't know how likely people will be able to get an Xbox 360 by Christmas if it isn't on pre-order or if you don't stalk stores like Best Buy, Target, Circuit City, etc. like a hawk after release. The PS2 was in super short supply (whether done by Sony purposefully or not is totally up to how you feel) the year it came out at Christmastime even though it had a 1 month jump on the Xbox 360 this year (it came in October).

Heck, even the Nintendo DS was in super shoirt supply around the holidays when it was released. I honestly think that if you don't get one in the first 2-3 days after launch, unless you are lucky, you will have a very hard time finding them before Christmas....especially since the 360 is launching mere days away from the biggest shopping day of the year.
