Imo. no. Fable is a okay game, but I would say rent it first, cause nothing that was promised in the game really made it into the game. Being good or evil really makes no difference in the long run

It's bound to drop to $30 at some point. I actually went through the game in 8 hours including doing some sidequests. There are far better RPG games out there than Fable honestly. I suggest renting it as well if you can.

It was on sale for $35 at Best Buy last week.. I went ahead and picked it up. It is fun.. I wouldn't pay $50 for it.. But i'm not upset paying $35.

I enjoyed Fable quite a bit, and yet I would definitely not recommend it at $50. $30, yes. It can be finished in 15-17 hours, and you could rent it for $6 and finish it before it was due back.

Depends on the type of gamer you are. For me, it was worth $50. I enjoy a nice RPG, but I find I frequently never finish them. Fable has enough interesting to keep me playing, and the idea that the end is in sight makes it worth it to me. Of course, a short game that's a piece of crap is worth nothing. This is much better than that. I find myself called back frequently. I may even finish before the year is up, which for me is incredible!

I really enjoyed Fable, but was very glad to get $30 store credit when trading it in. I'd probably do it as a rental, as it really only takes 15-20 hours to finish.
