I had a blast with Flatout 2, and was thinking of getting the third in the series but I read on the steam forums there were serious fransrate issues. Did anyone here get it? If so, is it a big leap over Flatout 2 or should I just pass?

It was this moment that took the movie from being a little ho-hum to “holy shit, did that shark just eat a plane!?”

Well based on the 5 races I ran, it's EXACTLY THE SAME. I guess the carnage part is new, but the tracks, cars and opponents in the career are the exact same as FlatOut 2

Yeah, Ultimate Carnage is sort of a high res remix of FlatOut 1 & 2 with a different mission structure and a few new things.  I thought it was worthwhile when I bought it for my 360, so I would have figured for $10 you couldn't go wrong.
