I haven't had a chance to try this out yet, but it sounds great. Basically, it provides a way to transfer items between characters and to store things in a shared vault. Can't wait to give it a go. The Titan Quest community is cheering this one.

Well, its nice with one huge caveat/drawback:  Once you use the vault, your characters will always require it, as TQ will see your characters as corrupt.

I love the idea, but I am not willing to have to run the monitor with these characters forver.

I have to back what rhino said, as the implementation of this sucks.  Atma for Diablo2 was much better at this.

I have been using it as a stash for all extra monster tokens and relics.  After you use the TQ vault, you *HAVE* to use the SSTQDefiler program to get your game to use your characters if you dont want to use the TQvault monitor program. It's onbly one extra step, mind you, but that one step is such a hack-job.

One would also say that this should've been in the game to begin with, and as thus the fact that it does mess with your characters if you turn it off is whole other discussion.

You only have to use the monitor if you access your characters' inventory and modify it in some way.  It's a far more elegant way to shuffle items around than setting up a lan game or using someone's server.
