When you game, how long is your average session?   Obviously you'll have more time on some days than other, but what's the average look like?

I usually play for a couple of hours then take a break. Exceptions have been when I'm having a good day in a CoD game or maybe I'm engrossed in Farming Simulator 2013. I think the long session times recently have been in GTA5 when I kept playing over and over to complete a mission.

In the long, long ago past, I do remember several marathon playing sessions in Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising when I would string together two or three three-hour long matches on the really big maps.

I find that I don't ever really game anymore unless I can do it for a couple hours uninterrupted.  I want to get fully into a game and not just jump in and try to remember the controls, or where I left off, etc before I have to jump out.

I've had some marathon sessions in the past, but I rarely have the free time to stretch beyond a couple hours now. Most of my sessions are probably in the 1-2 hour range these days.

Two hours or a little over more often than not, although PC time in general is far longer. Just not exclusive to gaming.

2-3 hours on a good day. If I wasn't training all the time I would game so much more smile

15 minutes or less for most of my gaming.  Portable gaming on the DS or iOS has become a godsend for my new kid-filled life.  I can take a quick turn in an asynchronous game here and there, or get in 15 minutes of Bravely Default and put the DS in sleep mode any instant I need to get pulled away.

For traditional games, I can usually only get 2-3 hours in on a good night between the kiddos going to bed and me getting too exhausted to play any later.

2-3 hours on average.  I haven't had a binge in a long time, but I had a bunch of 8+ hour binges back in the ps2 days, aka 'no kids, no wife, day off from work' era.

Same here.  8-month-old twins do not lend themselves to long, uninterrupted gaming sessions.  Makes MP games that require dedicated chunks of time nearly impossible...one of the main reasons I simply gave up on Final Fantasy XIV, which I otherwise thoroughly enjoyed.

One a REALLY good day, which comes around maybe once or twice a month, I'll play as long as 4 hours. This happens on weekends when I wake up around 7AM and play all morning before anything comes up.

On average, around 60 - 90 minutes per session, 2-3 sessions per week.

With the kids awake 30 minutes MAX.

With the kids in bed, until I fall asleep at the wheel.
