a new fan made Indy game.  it's going to be a point & click adventure, and there is a demo that was just released.  According to the FAQ it takes place before Fate of Atlantis, but it was originally going to be a sequel to it.

I love those old 2d adventures... There's also a Han Solo-project I'm following with interest (http://www.hansoloadventures.com/).

Lucas isn't suing to put a stop to these?

He probably won't sue, because he and Harrison Ford desperately need a fountain of youth.  icon_razz

Yeah, but unless these guys are licensing Indy and Star Wars from Lucas, they would make no money.  Usually this fan stuff gets shut down.

I tinkered with the playable demo this morning. Wholy 1992. I feel like I should run out and buy a Roland or Ad Lib sound card... It's pixelated on purpose, but it's very hard to get my eyes to appreciate the look the way they did in late 1992/early 1993.

Maybe they hope this will get LucasArts attention so they'll want to hire them as "pixel artists," although I don't know if sequelizing an 18-19 year old adventure game is the best way to do that.  icon_razz

My memory's foggy, but I think the first games I bought for my Vtech/Laser 486 PC in late 1992 were Indiana Jones: Fate of Atlantis and one of Sierra's Police Quest games.
