I tinkered with the playable demo this morning. Wholy 1992. I feel like I should run out and buy a Roland or Ad Lib sound card... It's pixelated on purpose, but it's very hard to get my eyes to appreciate the look the way they did in late 1992/early 1993.
Maybe they hope this will get LucasArts attention so they'll want to hire them as "pixel artists," although I don't know if sequelizing an 18-19 year old adventure game is the best way to do that.

My memory's foggy, but I think the first games I bought for my Vtech/Laser 486 PC in late 1992 were Indiana Jones: Fate of Atlantis and one of Sierra's Police Quest games.
