the finalists have been announced on the main website.  it's cool to see Amnesia and Minecraft both up for awards.

lol Amnesia, Bit Trip Beat, Minecraft and Cave Story are the only nominees I've even heard of. Shows you how much I'm out of the Indy game loop.  icon_confused  I love the name of this game "Brutally Unfair Tactics Totally OK Now (B.U.T.T.O.N.)" I wonder if it's a B.U.T.T.O.N masher?  Tongue

I believe the IGF link on the GT news item is broken? Tries to send me to:

While I'm bright enough to fix that, thought someone would want to tweak the web page.  icon_smile

I think Amnesia and Minecraft are the only ones I've heard of. Maybe one of the mobile finalists (Flick Football) rang a bell too.

Who wants to bet on Minecraft?  icon_biggrin

I've heard of Niddhogg, from Rock, Paper, Scissors, but it is a 2-player only dueling game that requires both players to use the same keyboard.  Roll Eyes That's pretty 1990, and isn't even a shade as cool as Minecraft or Amnesia.

Like I said though... you seriously have to have 2 players on the same keyboard, atm.

Well, it'd be a great post-pub game for students or house-sharers I guess!
