Cool, finally some FEAR loving, check out IGN's First Impressions of FEAR. They pretty much are loving the game and most of the complaints are just nitpicked. It also sounds like the game is more than 10 hours, at least for the reviewer, because he mentions having played it for 10 hours straight and not being finished.

Anyways, some good stuff, go read smile

Tongue  In fact, i need to do this anywho, so I`m doing a clean install of windows etc this week/weekend. Hope this one`s a goodie!

Looking forward to this after playing the sp demo! I only have an Athlon 2 Ghz processor, ti4200 video card, and 768MB RAM and it works fine for me. I'm sure I'm missing out on some cool graphical things but it runs smooth as silk at 1024x768. Actually, the graphics are impressive. Go figure!

Hehe, still plenty addicted. Though I'm a little discouraged now. I just reached level 40 and realized I need another 50 gold or so to be able to buy and ride a horse. I'd really rather not grind.

But to try and keep this on topic... um, no grinding in FEAR!

I have decided I will buy FEAR if the replayability is considered "good".  I have a feeling the SP portion of the game will be good, so if the MP portion is also deemed "good" by the CG and OO people, I will pick it up for sure.

Replay multi is unfreakinbelievable.  I have play no less than 15 hours so far on the multi demo alone.  Just can't get enough.  I can only imagine how much fun once you guys are in and we have all the maps and modes.

If you want an extra challenge in the MP mode, try holstering your weapon and only using melee attacks or grenades to kill.  On the plus side, you move extremely fast without a weapon equipped.
