Never played any ME, but for $10 at the employee store for ME1, I'm thinking about it. But I'm afraid it'll go the way of Fallout 3: started with a bang, then fizzled out and never finished.
You may end up doing that but the game does not. One of the better game end sequences in my opinion.

Yeah, I thought the last few hours of ME1 was an absolute thrill ride.

Metallic, I've been hoping for an ME MMO for a long time. It would be easy to do, they could set it beyond a relay no one has been able to travel through or something like that. Some of the design decisions in ToR, like the way companions are used, scream Mass Effect. I had posited a companion system like that for an ME game a couple of years back in a conversation with Oscuros and lo and behold, they did it for ToR.

I am desperately hoping they are going to take everything they have learned from making ToR and do an ME game. Unfortunately, I think it will be quite some time before it sees the light of day, even if they are in design stages now.

I did not run into a single bug in ME2 that I recall.

Had another one tonight getting stuck on a ledge. Luckily I could still slide along it to a crate where there was a cutscene triggered by a crate.

I have a hard time believing that you didn't have your character stuck in the terrain (followed by hovering) at least once, forcing you to reload. Everyone experienced that, most of us multiple times.

In Mass Effect 2?  In the first game I had some wonky experiences when driving the vehicle, but I don't remember any significant bugs in the second.  Definitely never had the forced reload thing you describe.  This was on the 360, maybe other versions had it worse?

I ran into that once or twice on the PC with ME2, and just hit it for the first time in ME3 the other night, though I was able to escape that one.  Annoying, but not the end of the world.  Then again, I save frequently in multiple slots, because I'm old skool.

yeah i think it was Mass Effect 2 where if you were crouching behind something,a few times you would be trapped in the cover, and all of a sudden you would just rise into the air and either not stop or hover about ...had to reload, happened a few times(360 Version)

Down to about 4-5 side quests before going to Ilos.  I'm going to need to play one more time through to save Wrex and Ashley (Kaiden is kinda useless to me)
