So I can have time for all the other things in life, *and* video games.

Lessee... if I quit my job I'll have time for gaming; *but* I won't have money to buy games. >_<;; I thought that was the easy answer.

Dammit, Bards Tale comes out in the next couple of weeks, and KUF:C and DOA Ultimate are also coming out before November. So is the maybes (depending on budget and quality) TMNT2 and Otagi 2...

God, and november is going to kill me with Halo2, hopefully Half-Life2 and a little bit of Lord of the Rings : The Third Age.  :shock:  :\  NFSU2 and World of Warcraft, Everquest2, Demon Stone, POP: Warrior Within,
Sid Meiers Pirates, Golden Eye, and Ghost Recon 2 ....

December continues to beat the crap outta my wallet with games like KOTOR2, LOTR Battle for MiddleEarth, Conker Live and Reloaded, Mechassault 2 and supposedly Team Fortress 2  :rolleyes: .

... and someone asked me if I wanted to buy a PSTwo... Yeah, like I've got the time *or* money for ANOTHER system.

No I didn't. I can't forget it. I see the coveted silver case everytime I close my eyes. Oh, and I *did* mention it above. It's the "Given" purchase of november.

Dammit, I need to take out a second mortgage on my home. I wonder if they'll take Samurai Warriors in for trade???

This is why I hate this time of year. If only publishers didn't force all these developers to ship their games in the 4th quarter just so their yearly sales figures looked so much better than they actually are to keep their stock up therefore giving the publisher's managers all of these giant bonuses we'd see more games spread evenly throughout the year.

Damn, that's one big sentence. biggrin

I gotta boil it down. (in order of release dates)

[--------] ::Must Have :: [--------]
Kingdom Under Fire:Crusaders
DOA Ultimate
Halo2
Half-Life2
Conker Live and Reloaded
Mechassault 2

[---------] ::Rent First :: [--------]
Bards Tale
POP: Warrior Within
TMNT2
Otogi 2
KOTOR2
NFSU2
Golden Eye
Ghost Recon 2
Lord of the Rings : The Third Age

[--------] ::Not Likely :: [--------]
Demon Stone
Everquest2
Sid Meiers Pirates
LOTR Battle for MiddleEarth
Team Fortress 2  slywink

[---------] :: Will Wait :: [--------]
World of Warcraft for reviews, impressions and time scheduling
basically, I'll likely buy WoW but not on the release date.

The not likely and will wait is the easy ones... the Rent First column has about 4 titles that should be in the Must haves...

DAMN YOU Gaming industry for making me CHOOSE based on resources and not on preference!!!

I hate you all.

KOTOR 2 in the rent first category? For shame.

Not at all. It's not a longevity game, and I can get some of my rental games free. (a buddy works for a rental place).

Besides, I coughed up the 50US for KOTOR, beat it twice inside two weeks, and traded it in for ~30US. You do the math. Renting is cheaper. slywink
