Remember Perfect Dark?  If not, go pick up a copy, that and an N64 would probably run you about $20.  Remember it now?  Good.  Let's move on.

I played the hell out of that game.  Never once did I set foot in the single player.   I have no idea what the story was about.  What I do remember is hours if not weeks spent in the combat simulator.  So many weapon options, so many stages, so many teamwork options and gamestyles.  Most important of all: bots (or simulants...whatever).

At the time, I really thought that a new standard had been created for FPS games.  Yet other than timesplitters 2, barely anything has used the simulant to notable effect.  I know the Jedi Knight console games are out there, but they control poorly.

Therefore, I ask you all: does anyone know of a game that will allow me (or me and friends) to run amok on a group of computer controlled enemies (or sometimes teammates)?  I'm not limiting myself to first person games.  In fact, I'd love to know about more third person games that pull this off.    Thanks.

XIII is an FPS.  It has bots.

The 007 Nightfire has bots that are characters from the films.

Can't think of third-person games off-hand.

There is always Unreal Championship.  UC2 looks fantastic.
