I was sooooo tempted to get Lone Survivor for $5, but I didn't pull the trigger fast enough.
I almost jumped on Dark Souls for $12 on Amazon, but I don't have a controller for my PC. 

I also bought my son Civ IV's expansion for $8.  Combine that with getting the base game for free from the XCOM deal and that's a $40 X-Mas gift for 80% off.

As a one at a time gamer for 23 years who created his first backlog with the 2011 winter steam sale I worry about this. But with a price point of $10, I don't feel like I'm wasting too much money. Plus, with so many publishers in trouble, I feel there could be a drought at any momment. Then again, there are a lot of cool kickstarter stuff as well..... So far, all is still good.

Thanks to Laner I now to have Forza Horizon - $14.99
I almost pulled the trigger on Dishonored at $44.99 now its $29.99 with in 48hrs.
I am going to wait for the end of year sale, It should be $15.00 by then with walking dead at under $9.99.
It will also allow me time to shrink my backlog a little less than it is right now.

Actually, the biggest bargain this past weekend was kind of random. My wife and I have been wanting some new pots & pans for a long while now, and we had intended to buy some months ago, picked out what we wanted to get and everything, just didn't get around to it. I happened to be looking at them on Amazon over the weekend to see if there happened to be a sale, and saw one of the external ads. Turns out that Sierra Trading Co. (which has all kinds of great things) had a small 5 PC set at a killer price. Not the set I would have bought otherwise, but a great way to get a few pans to try and see how we like them before sinking more money in.
