I couldn't resist. I was in CompUsa and saw the Blue "Hot Rod" faceplate for $4.50 and had to get it, it looks neat now, but I can't believe anyone would pay $20 bucks for one... Anyone else do anything like that. I like the idea, but now I want the rest of my console to be that blue.

Seems funny that somebody would want to put a faceplate for such a 'simple' (based on its power when it launched) console on their 'uber' (in comparison) 360. Of course, I'd probably do the same thing as well. |

Thankfully, I have ample paint supplies and if I want a new faceplate, I can simply take the default one off an repaint it however I please.

The faceplates should never have been priced at more than 8-10 dollars. For 20 I'll never buy one. I do have the full auto faceplate for pre-oredering though.
Never put it on, it's still in its bubble-wrap.

I almost bought the black carbon one. My 360 sits on top of my old Xbox and it would probably look good with the chrome drive bezel. But as others have said, not for $20. I have no interest in the fancy game-themed ones. I don't think there are too many games I like THAT much (though the Blue Dragon one is cool). If I were Canadian I'd show my pride with the Canada Day one. Here is a TON of faceplates. A whole lotta ugly! Ron, there is a one-of-a-kind signed Rush faceplate.  |
