I watched some gameplay videos of this a while ago and was very unimpressed. It looked almost exactly like Unreal Tournament, and it sounded like the whole game is basically running around a city and then doing small instances. Not nearly as revolutionary as they were making it sound like it would be.

ugh, microtransactions. plus the 360 players vs PC players question is dodged, and a vague answer to the 100 vs 100 question. not sounding good.

Planetside 2 please.
I really wish they would just redo Planetside with current graphics/netcode and let it rip. No game since has quite captured the feel of that game. I loved making hot drops as a gutsy Galaxy pilots while friends flew cover. The game was really quite good until the whole mech thing imo. |

after reading the article I'm a bit bummed. I dont' WANT faster gameplay  I'm not opposed to microtransactions as long as they are reasonable since a mix of permanent and expiring items can roughly equal other game's monthly fees. If the game has a retail $ AND microstransactions I might have a bigger problem with it though. |

It must have issues. Im about ready to delete this garbage. Ive tried for 4 days to just log in and run the game. Today it actually lets me in but after 15 minutes of trying to get through 2 screens of character creation Im mad and sick of it. I get like 2 seconds of movement / game and then 10 seconds of lagged or loacked up beforer another 2 seconds of movement. I got sick of just trying to make a character that i ctrl-alt-del'd it.
