In case you haven't seen it, head over to Hrothgar's Talk Strategy site and check out his interview on 7/19 with one of the developers of Ghost Wars.  It looks like a cool RTS and it's even cooler that one of our own scored the interview!

Nice job!

Thanks.  I try not to pump up my site too much here.  I don't want to get annoying.   Ghost Wars sort of came out of nowhere to get some raves at E3.  Since it was a smaller publisher, I figured why not?  Overall, I have to say I was impressed with some of the answers.

By the way, since it will eventually fall off the front page, Here's the permalink.

Comments and criticism of the interview are welcome.

Some nice screenshots for that game as well, Hrothgar.

Who is the developer, and do they have a publisher yet?

The developer is Digital Reality.  They once developed Imperium Galactica II, but their more recent efforts have been mostly unpolished.

They have a publisher in Hip Games Europe.  The Canadian branch of Hip recently went bankrupt, but the main company seems to be doing fine.

Interesting, this may be a replacement for Soldiers: HOWW2 for our group.  What with the direct control.

Not quite as cool, or exclusive, but Relic did send me the designer diary for the Warhammer 40K expansion, Winter Assault along with some new screenshots.  It's up Here.

Thanks for the link, Hrothgar!  I want that expansion NOW!

One thing about those screen shots...  While the engine can certainly produce them if you zoom in, I never actually played with those angles.  They sure make for nice screens, though!

Hopefully you will let us know when new installments are added.

Stiffler is right on. I zoom in occasionally to see really small engagements up close for the fun factor or screenshots, but thats it. Close zoom levels are just not useful in large, multi-unit, heated battles.
