Anybody play this one yet?  I tried the demo the other day.  3 holes only.  I'm a huge Hot Shots Golf fan and I have Minna no Golf for the PSP.  Fans of the previous versions will surely like this game although to be perfectly honest, at first glance it seems to be more of the same with better visuals.  There are a few cosmetic changes that I noticed but not much more than that.
One thing I noticed-the game is pretty but jaggedy as hell!! I don't get how it could be so bad.  Was it the TV perhaps?  It was an HD tv although the numbers on the screen seemed a little strange.  At first it said 750p and then it changed to something like 1120p which I thought was a little strange since everybody usually talks about 720p and 1080p.

Ahh whoops!  Technically though, I don't consider this to be much more of a sports title than Wii Sports is.

I just downloaded it on the Japan PSN. I'll fire it up later today.

No, it is not out on the American PSN yet.

That is no big deal though, cause here is a step by step guide to creating a JPN account.

Hetzy -

How do the japanese and american accounts co-exist on the PS3? Do you need to change every time you log in, every time you go to the store, every time you play a game, or is it really as easy as picking one of your profiles and that will take you to the right place for downloads when you're looking for something?

Thanks

It's as easy as picking one of your profiles. It's really simple. It will automatically take you to the right store for whatever region your current profile is set to.

Still 3 click, kinda, but you hit to start the swing, hit at the top of the swing, then a parenteses-like bracket closes in on the ball and you hit again when it gets real tight to the ball to make contact.

No meters, just follow the characters motions.

If this explanation sucked - Which it proabably did - You get your ass into your PS3, create a new account, and download it yourself to see.  Tongue

I don't have a ps3.  Although, that may have been your point...   icon_neutral

Yep!  icon_biggrin

More to the point - My opinion of 3 holes of Hot Shots Golf shouldn't be the determining factor in your shelling out $600 for a PS3.

My opinion of MLB: The Show, on the other hand, should!

Haha.

Hey... If I was willing to buy a 360 for basically one game (College Hoops) - don't think for a minute I wouldn't buy the ps3 for one game.

I anxiously await your opinion, loser.
