Here's how to play through the levels again w/the blue gravity gun

Enable the console
type these commands:
sv_cheats 1
map d3_citadel_04
give weapon_physcannon
changelevel d1_town_01 (or where ever you want to start)

I gotta say it's a lotta fun picking up the zomies and holding them into the spinning blades.

Oh man, I want to take down the Combine at the beginning with that tool. When the guy knocks the piece of trash on the floor and tells you to pick it up, I want to pick up the trash can with the grav gun and slug him with it. biggrin

Okay, I give up, how do you call up the console in Half Life 2?

Okay, I found the way to get to the console, but I can't seem to get the commands above to work.

I want to start at the very beginning of the game with the BLUE gravity gun.  Anyone know what console commands to enter?

Pardon my idiocy.

Just to let you guys know, using the better Gravity gun is a bit buggy.  Certain things act funny if you pick them up, and apparently the game will even crash.

From what I just read at that link you cannot use the blue grav gun anywhere.  Only on certain levels.  Shoot.  I was hoping to play through the entire game with it and toss people to kingdom come and back.  Apparently, the level determines whether the grav gun affects animate objects or not, and they all don't allow it.

Yeah.  I know for a fact that any vehicle in the game, especially the combine APC, doesn't like to be picked up and will crash the game if you do.
