Thanks! Very fast link. It downloaded faster than it's taking to install it!  slywink

Thanks for hosting this on such a fast link, Ron.  Can you please host the whole Internet for me so I can get these great speeds in the future?  Cool, thanks.

I wish we could get the game from here too!  Gamersgate started the download at 3am Eastern and over here download rates of 30 kbs are common and even halfway fast.  Repeated pauses are also hitting some of us and you can't simply go away as you have to be there to hit the unpause button.  I've even had it moving at 600bs.  Notice the lack of "k" in that speed.

Tried Steam?

While Steam is reportedly faster, they aren't providing serial #s at this point, which means people can't register the game on the official boards and get access to the free strat guide.  Plus, as usual, Steam isn't providing the manual at this point either, though that is available elsewhere.

So it's not really a bed of roses their either.

Yeah I'm waiting until it gets fixed before I go back to it.  The game is massive. And will be amazing once they fix the AI and map issues.  But right now it's more frustrating than fun.

I just started playing this.  I did RTFM but it was a lot to take in, so...questions!

1. Is there any way to select a whole command?  I mean, if I select an HQ and want to move it and all units under it, can I do this easily?

2. I'm the United Kingdom in March 1936 (started in January).  Currently it takes anywhere from half a year to a year to build a single unit.  Is that right?  Is there some huge boost to IC I can achieve somehow?  The only thing I know will work is to build factories which, of course, take ages to build too.

3. Similarly, technological research is glacial.  Is this something that will ramp up when I mobilize?

4. I have nowhere near enough IC to keep upgrades, reinforcements, supplies and all the others satisfied at once.  Should I be worried?  I was thinking of sacrificing reinforcements for now, while war is still a long way off.

I'm sure I'll have more questions later.  Thanks in advance for any help.
