Supposedly if you reach rank 20, you get a new card back. I am ranked 20, but I didn't get a card back. Maybe at the end of the season?

The 500 win thing, patch notes say it shows your progress on the ranked game deck selection screen. I don't see it.

I see  the 500 win thing, it's per class (shown under the class when you select it)

I notice I run out of cards a lot with all my decks and arena matches. I am not sure why, others don't seem to run out as I do, and I find myself losing even when I have a superior position because I run out of cards and they still have 4 left. I take cards that give you cards, but that doesn't work. I wonder if I concentrate on too low of a mana arc (whatever the word for it is). Thoughts?

I'm not sure Lee.  I've only run out of cards in one game.

I made it to rank 17 finally, and seem to be winning much more.  I have a really tough Pally deck now.

Bad news though, my hp laptop is overheating so I have to take it to the shop tomorrow.

I personally will never by another HP, and probably won't even buy another PC.  I'm over it.

Wish the ipad version would hurry up and come out.

Hmm, how many cards do you have that have you draw more cards?  Some in a deck are good, but maybe you have too many?

Do you think you could post what your deck contains?  In other forums, people often just take a screenshot of their deck contents (two screenshots, if you can't see everything at once).

I will have to see about a screen shot when I am at my other computer. I usually take one or two of the 1/1 engineer that draws a card and the 2/4 minion that draws a card. I always look to take cards that let you draw cards. I think my problem is I need to hold back a bit. I have been trying to hold back cards (especially with my hunter deck) instead of playing cards in the opening few rounds, unless of course I am reacting to my opponent. Plus I tend to build decks high in the 2-4 mana range so I end up playing lots of cards at once. I need to adjust the curve.

I seem to be stuck at 19 with mage deck. Honestly I have the most fun just playing unrated games with the various decks. Less pressure, I do better in them, and it's fun playing around with the decks.

Off topic: Eco if gaming isn't important to you, try a Mac. I am a Mac guy but thought I might need a PC for school, so started researching them. I forgot how bad the PC world was for laptops. Seems lots of reviews mention reliability problems. And everyone is trying to be make Ultras to compete with the Air. And then so many have touch screens. I gave up and decided I will bootcamp my Mac before buying a Windows laptop again.

You are in for a treat.  I'm new to card games too, and this one is a perfect place to start.  Be sure to play the tutorial all the way through before playing a real opponent.

My wife and I both agree that when we replace this 1 year old hp pos, it will be with a Mac.  The shop will fix it for $50, so I'll do that first.  I had to return it to hp about 5 months ago due to overheating.  Now of course the warranty is out.

Was just disconnected for the second time in 3 days from the server. The first time it happened, I could still see the guy looking at his cards, and after about 5 minutes the game continued as normal. This time it said I had been disconnected, and then failed to reconnect. If I go back into the game it says there is an error and to try again later. Hopefully that doesn't show up as an arena loss.

Blizz is also bringing the iPad version to PAX East for show.  Maybe it's further along than we expected.

My laptop was fixed for $50, and the guy that fixed it proceeded to preach about why I shouldn't buy another hp, which I'd already decided...

I'm thinking the rumors about an April 1 launch for the ipad version may be pretty accurate.

Reasons...   The launch from open beta to live on the PC was pretty freaking soft, and I think it makes a lot of sense to wait until the ipad version is ready to really have the media push.  Secondly, the talk of when the next season starts is 4/1, with discussion of the ipad  version.

Finally, Blizzard /Activision are not idiots, and the install base in ios is so huge they would be idiots to not launch quickly if it's ready.

That it is, but some wording in a document somewhere alluded to the start of the next season also being the start of the season for the iPad.   Who knows, we can only hope

Game plays nicely on my new MacBook Pro retina. Doesn't even kick the fans into high gear. I have a Mac Mini media set up as a media server that struggles to run it which is too bad because it's nice to sit back and playing it on my TV.

I'm still playing the hell out of this and absolutely can't wait for the ipad version.  I've played a little less lately due to Infamous, but am eager to get started on April 1 when the first season actually starts.

I've still been playing Paladin and Warlock primarily.  I prefer Paladin, but Warlock is a blast to play.  I made it to 16 this season, then started screwing around with different decks and got demoted to 20...

Ugh

I burned out on it. I played it all night long one night last weekend. In unranked matches I tend to do pretty good, but that night I got match after of people who just destroyed me (saw my first all murloc deck as well, it was devastating). I don't seem to be getting better at the game for some reason so I think I have become a bit disheartened with it.

Agreed on Warlock btw, it's the most fun deck to play.

Actually, apps "soft-launch" in other regions quite often.

FYI - found this on Reddit... "How to get Hearthstone on iPad in an unsupported region!
Go to settings
Press iTunes & App Store
Select the option that says Apple ID: YOURID
Select View Apple ID
Select Country/Region
Select British Columbia, Canada
Delete your payment method when prompted to confirm
Replace your zip code with V0L 1C0 (Will only work for BC)
I'm in north California and I've been playing Hearthstone on the iPad for half an hour now. It works surprisingly well, although it is a bit laggy. If you have any questions fire them my way.
--Common Problems--
I have a balance on my account and can't change regions. What can I do?
The only way you can clear your balance is by contacting iTunes support. Let them know you want to change regions (you shouldn't have to say why.)"

Not sure.  You do have to remove your payment method, so that may be why.

On a side note, I have some Amazon gift certificates I would trade for iTunes credit.  I have yet to buy a pack for this game.   I also don't need anything from Amazon. And would love to have more legendaries. $60 total.  Only mention it because I've had an iTunes card and wished it was for Amazon.
