I would have been a sure thing for this until I bought COD4.  I have zero interest in paying for these maps.  I'll get them when they're free in the spring.  How about you guys?

The Forge focussed map looks interesting.  I will probably get them at some point.

I never see anyone from GT playing Halo 3 anymore, can't imagine many people buying this map pack.

+1 potentially.  my interest dropped considerably after cod4.  i see this being free in the spring a good reason for reviving pete's friday night h3 fights.

This is why I haven't regretted my decision to skip buying Halo 3. I'll still rent it one of these days to try out the campaign.

If not for COD4 I would not hesitate to buy them.  As such, I probably still will once I get back into Halo3.

CoD4 has it's claws in me and hasn't let go.  Halo3 is a distant memory at the moment.   I'll grab them when they are free.   This morning when I was playing CoD4 I heard some guys talking about 3 new maps out for CoD4. ...maybe they was talking about Halo3.  Make sense I guess

i still play Halo 3 with a group of friends pretty regularly on friday nights.  my decision to buy this rather than wait for it to become free depends entirely on whether or not the rest of my gaming group decides to implement them right away.  personally, i'm still having a good time with the current maps and could easily wait for them to become free if everyone else were in the same boat.

I don't want to pay for it... but I'll probably give in by the end of the week. I'm annoyed at MS/Bungie for making me pay, but I'll do it. Just costing them some of my goodwill.

Maybe. I like playing it once in awhile to kill some time but as long as matchmaking isn't a problem I'll probably wait till they are free.

What I do want are some freaking new maps for TF 2 Valve!

I'll grab them to, but I have to make myself stop playing CoD before I'll get to try them out.  Of course, with new CoD maps coming out in a week, that might take a bit.

the point is that these maps are becoming free this week...what they cost in the past is pretty much irrelevant now.  i picked up the map pack when it was first released because the rest of my Halo 3 gaming group was picking them up, and i think they're a pretty good addition.  if you're still playing Halo 3 MP, it's definitely worth the free download.

Eh.  Might grab these if I get my copy of Halo 3 back from a friend.  Not sure that I'll play them more than once or twice.
