It's just me, I am sure.  But when Gordon Freeman was in Breen's office with Eli Vance, Alyx saw that Gordon was also captured, she appeared heartbroken.

For some very odd reason, I broke out in laughter and commented to the screen: "Don't worry babe, I have him exactly where I want him." with my best Bruce Campbell impression.

Thats where I thought I was 3/4 done and was in for a great ending...gah.

Yeah, the character animation technologies they used are just top notch.

I'm working with the engine, trying to use it to produce a short scifi film.

I 100% agree. I thought this was leading up to a cool FINAL level. When I think about it now, that last level was HELLA lame and easy. I expected them to throw some aliens or something new we had never seen.

Instead we get two gunships and thats it. Really poor level design for the "climatic" final scene. After all the incredibly cool stuff leading up to it, it was a disappointment.

STILL, one of the best games I have EVER played!!
