So says Gabe Newell himself.

http://www.hl2fallout.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4221&st=0&#entry76575

I can't wait.

Yeah, I know it's PC gaming, But there's been other posts in here lately, so I figured why not.

I think people are beginning to figure out that CG isn't just about consoles anymore...you wanna talk about PC, you talk about PC....you wanna talk hardware?  Feel free.  Have fun

Actually, a representative of hl2fallout.com is saying it's looking as though gabe newell's forum account was hacked, and the post is fake.

Or at least that's the rumor. Their site is so slammed for bandwidth it's almost impossible to get to right now, so I don't know for sure.

Oh man, never have my feelings gone up so quick, and come crashing down just as quick in one thread.

IF they're planning on getting the title shipped by september 30th, like some of the rumors say, it'd have to go gold one of these days.

On the other hand, knowing the past events with regards to good ole Gabe, I wouldn't be surprised if it WAS hacked.

The whole HalfLife 2 fiasco is quite entertaining.

Drama scene after drama scene.

I suppose it makes the Marketing Dept's job a bit easier though.

Here's hoping it's at least really close.

It is true.

From what I understand the hacker posted as gabe again.

This time telling him he should have made his password something other than "gaben"

Which, I guess is kind of funny if you think about it.

And it came as a surprise that somebody figured out how to break into Valve and steal the extremely early (and not ready) Half Life 2 beta when you look at the oh-so-simple password that Gabe himself used...

*sighs*

When I see the box at CompUSA I will buy it.  I won't even bother thinking about it until the time I see it is released at retail.

I didn't feel lied to or cheated when it didn't come out last year.  It's not like they are working on the cure for cancer over there.  Sure, it looks great, but life goes on with or without HL2.  I'm no more or less excited about it than most other titles on my radar.  If I can't buy it then what's the point of getting worked up.  I doubt the die-hards that are so passionate about this game are going to boycott its release.
